LaVeda M Jones
LaVeda M. Jones is a visionary leader, advocate, author, and faith ambassador committed to empowering women to rise, rebuild, and walk boldly in purpose, with a focused heart for single mothers and foster and adopted girls.
She holds master level diplomas in mental health, youth mental health, and mental health support for military and first responders, equipping her to lead with both compassion and clinical insight as she serves women and families navigating real-life challenges.
Since 2009, LaVeda has been a consistent voice for women in transition. She empowers women from all walks of life while intentionally creating safe, faith-rooted spaces for single mothers and girls in foster and adoptive care. She is the author of Raising a Prince Without a King and The 100 Day Single Mom Prayer Journal, with additional journals and resources continuing to grow under her She Builds Fire brand. Through her 100 Day Prayer Journey and weekly prayer calls, she helps women heal, reset, and move forward with clarity and strength.
LaVeda is a mother of two sons, a former foster parent, and the proud adoptive mother of two daughters. Her journey is lived, not theoretical. Every layer of her life has shaped the way she shows up for others.
She is the founder of Grit Grace and Glow, a nonprofit dedicated to serving foster and adopted girls ages 8 to 18 through transformative, dignity centered programs. From leadership development and life skills to creative expression and wellness, the organization equips girls to see beyond their circumstances and step into who they are becoming. Through the Luggage of Hope initiative, she is restoring dignity for girls in transition in a tangible way.
LaVeda is also the founder of ONE14 Marketing, where she helps businesses and organizations build strong, visible, and purpose-driven brands that make an impact.
Above all, LaVeda is an ambassador for God, leading, teaching, and speaking with boldness and authenticity. Her faith is the foundation of everything she builds.
LaVeda’s life work is clear. She empowers women to rise, with a deep and intentional commitment to single mothers and foster and adopted girls.
